Northamptonshire is quite rightly named "Rose of the
Shires." Within easy reach of Laundimer House, there
are many beauty spots, histories villages and stately homes
- in fact we are also known as the County of Spires and Squires.
Five miles to the east is the picturesque market town of
Oundle, home of the famous Public School.
En-route to kettering via the A43 is Boughton House. Heading
in a more northerly direction, but still only a short step
away on the A43 is the town of Stamford, in which to linger,
especially with historic Burghley House close by.
Serene Kirby Hall, complete with peacocks, is approximately
3 miles away, and we are also within minutes of Rockingham
Motor Speedway.
We are sure that whether you are on business or visiting
the area for a short break, you will find many hidden treasures
to gladden your journey. Pauline & Terry will be happy
to furnish you with many more details of places to visit during
your stay.
